About me

This isn’t going to be a rant about all my accomplishments or how great I am …there is enough of that in the world these days! Instead a rant about my dreams and aspirations. Since a young age, I have been obsessed with fishing and the outdoors “once got chased out of high school by a principal just to chase down a spring walleye bite” it has always been a dream of mine to share my passion with others. I love to teach , love to smile and love to have fun! I’m a very challenge motived person and I haven’t found many activities more challenging than fishing and guiding. There is always something to learn and new things to try. I’ve dreamed of becoming a guide and for me this is a dream come true!

The Boat

I’ve always looked at a boat as a tool and have loved tillers since I was a kid. Tillers offer more room and more control but do give up comfort when traveling from spot to spot. So if your looking for a warm and comfy ride my boat may not be for you. The back of the boat is my office and the front deck is my clients playground. I spent many hours dialing this boat in to be a efficient organized tool! I run a 24v Minnkota ulterra at the front of the boat powered by two 100ah Dakota lithiums . The ulterra allows me to actively stow and deploy with the click of a button to move with the fish. Being efficient on the water puts more fish in the live-well and in the boat at the end of the day! The 90 horsepower Yamaha is extremely quiet and enjoyable for carrying on conversations or teaching when looking for fish. Most people don’t even know its running at slower speeds!

Graphs

Technology has come a long ways and graphs are just as important to success on the water as the boat or lures. I’ve spent countless hours staring at my graphs to better understand them and fish movements. I can promise you that if we stop the boat we will be on fish! Sharp shooting with Jigging raps or a slip bobber and a leech can be extremely fun and rewarding.
